Privacy Policy
My Tarot Medium is a private ritual room published by MsPinaQ LLC, a United States limited liability company. There is no account, no advertising, and no analytics SDK. This policy describes what stays on your device, what is sent to prepare a reading, and what we never collect.
Who we are
The controller of personal information described here is MsPinaQ LLC (“we”). The product is My Tarot Medium, available for iOS, Android, and web. Support is offered through the app’s store listing. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
What stays on your device
Questions, mood, optional context, chosen cards, reading history, language preference, sound preference, and a local copy of Room Key status are stored on the device you are using. They are held in app storage. Where the platform allows, a device vault key is kept so that sensitive local items are not stored in plain text. History is not synced to another phone or to iCloud as an account. You may clear history inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes what remains on that device.
What leaves the device
A Daily Card and the first deep reading may be prepared without a Room Key. Later professional spreads are prepared only if our server recognizes a valid entitlement. When a deep reading is requested, the app sends a short-lived session token and an anonymous install identifier created on the device. The reading request may include:
- your question, mood, and optional context, after length and safety checks
- spread type, card identities, positions, and orientation
- selected language
- a brief local echo of recent cards and themes, so the voice can stay coherent
The app never holds a language-model key. Our server calls the model provider and returns the reading. Operational logs record time, locale, spread, and whether the request succeeded. They are not a diary of your question. Network address may be used briefly to limit abuse. Screen capture may be blocked on the draw and result screens so a paid reading is harder to record; that is a display protection, not extra data collection.
Purchases and the Room Key
Payment is processed by Apple or Google, not by a card form inside My Tarot Medium. We do not receive your full payment card number. If you buy a Room Key, the store may provide a receipt or transaction identifier so we can confirm the subscription on our server and remember expiry against your install identifier. Restore Purchases asks the store and our server to return that entitlement to this device. Room Key is $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year in United States dollars; the store may show a local equivalent. Daily Card remains free. The first deep reading is a gift.
Permissions
Camera, microphone, location, contacts, Face ID, and advertising identifiers are not used. Optional notification permission may be requested only when you ask to be told that a reading is ready. Optional quiet sound stays on the device. You may refuse notifications; the reading still appears in history on this device.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, birth date, or the birth date of another person. There is no sign-in. We do not embed analytics, crash reporters, or advertising trackers. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your readings to train a public model of our own. We do not run cross-app tracking, and we do not request App Tracking Transparency because we do not track you across other companies’ apps.
Who helps us process a reading
Apple and Google provide the stores, notifications, and in-app purchase. A language-model provider processes reading text in order to write the layered interpretation. Hosting and security infrastructure may process the install identifier, entitlement state, and the reading request. Those parties act on our instructions for this product. Production reading traffic is sent over HTTPS.
How long we keep server records
Entitlement records (whether the first deep gift was used, Room Key expiry, and a monthly professional count) are kept so the room can be restored on this install and so the gift cannot be replayed. They are keyed to the install identifier, not to your civil identity. We do not keep a standing archive of full questions. You can delete local history at any time. If you write to us from a store listing, we may keep the correspondence needed to answer you.
Children
My Tarot Medium is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The store listing is prepared for a 12+ audience. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that sent us information, write to us and we will delete what we can identify.
International use
MsPinaQ LLC is established in the United States. If you use the app from another country, information described above may be processed in the United States and in the countries where our processors operate. Where a privacy law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, or objection, we will honour them to the extent we can identify the relevant records. Because there is no account, we usually cannot match a name to an install unless you still have the device or a store receipt.
Notice to California residents
We do not sell or share personal information as those words are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for advertising. You may ask what we hold, ask us to delete it, and ask us not to sell it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights.
Your choices
You may clear history in the app, refuse notifications, leave sound off, and stop a Room Key auto-renewal in your Apple or Google account settings. To ask us to delete server entitlement records, write to [email protected] from a store conversation or with enough detail (such as a transaction identifier) that we can find the install. We cannot restore history onto a new device.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. Continued use after the new date means the revised policy applies to later use.
